INTERSTUDENT 2025 – Special Prize
We are beyond proud to announce that Anastasiia Kononenko, an outstanding Power Engineering student at our Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, has been unanimously chosen as one of the Best International Student in Poland, awarded the INTERSTUDENT 2025 – Special Prize!

Anastasiia is not only excelling academically but also making a real impact in the world. She patented Life Defender, a device that prevents the suffocation of children and animals in locked cars under extreme temperatures.
Her achievements speak for themselves:
- Winner of the Genius Olympiad (national stage), and Sikorski Challenge
- Silver medalist at I-FEST2
- Two-time recipient of the Intel-Perspektywy scholarship
- Participant of NASA SpaceApps & CASSINI hackathons
