The mission and vision of the development of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Lodz University of Technology reflects the mission and vision of Lodz University of Technology, primarily with elements such as integrity in science, ensuring a high level of academic education, openness to new challenges, innovation, shaping intellectual elites and cultivating and developing academic traditions.

Within the framework of the University's SAIL strategy, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering strives to carry out research at the highest level and to provide its staff and doctoral candidates to develop comprehensively, based on the best models, laboratory and research facilities, tools and methods. The Faculty is expanding and intensifying its cooperation with numerous domestic and foreign universities, research centres and business entities.
